We shot our August match on Saturday, the 27^th and were blessed with a beautiful sunny day to spend at the Cedar Mountain Range.  We had the match set up by 9:15AM, shot four stages, and had had everything put away by 1:00PM.  It was a warm day but we finished up before it got really hot.

 

When shooting was finished and everything else done the Rangers voted to make a donation to the Yampa Valley Friends of NRA for their annual banquet on October 1^st.  Additionally, we were all saddened by the recent retirement from CAS of That Away Gal and Maybell Maverick sue to ongoing health issues.  We will miss Lois and Ron and wish them the best…

 

Our final match of the season is coming up on Saturday, September 24^th.  Traditionally this is our pot luck match with the club buying fried chicken and everyone bringing something to share.  Don’t forget to bring paper plates, napkins, tableware, and drinks.
